OUR WHY
We created The Guild Conference for creative people like Day Allen. Day is a husband, father, hip-hop artist, and local pastor. He came to the Guild needing to be refreshed in the presence of God and inspired to create again. After a day of being around other liked-minded people and hearing the truth, he left encouraged. His story is one of so many we’ve heard. He and others like him are why we do what we do.
The Guild was designed to care holistically for the craft and character of creative people and to encourage creative community. We want to provide tangible opportunities that support you in your journey of remaining faithful to your work and your walk with God.
Our desire is to inspire your creativity, spiritual journey, and daily rhythms. This conference was an initiative started by artists and event curators who recognized the need to challenge, support, and hold accountable creatives whose lives and artistry have been redeemed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe healthy creative communities are made up of artists as well as people who love engaging thoughtfully with beauty. The Guild provides an opportunity for artists and non-artists alike to enjoy creative arts and to support faithful creative expression.
We’re leading, discipling, and partnering with creative people. We’re creating an experience that encourages intentional rest, resetting, and reflection in the presence of God in light of our call as creative people made for creative community. Welcome to The Guild Conference.
